I am popping in today to say—I need your help!

This month I am doing a special countdown to Memorial Day on my blog! There will be posts every day for the entire week leading up to Memorial Day in honor of those who have given it all.

One of them will be a post remembering our nation’s fallen heroes, and I thought I would give you each a chance to participate. If you knew a fallen hero, I would be honored to include their name in my post. It could be a relative, co-worker, friend, neighbor, etc.

While we honor and respect our active duty military and veterans, Memorial day is specifically for America’s combat fallen. We have Veterans Day to remember and honor those who have served in the past, and Armed Forces Day to honor those who are currently serving. Memorial Day however is a time set aside to honor those who have been killed in the line of duty, serving our country.

So I ask that you only send in the names of those who have died in action, serving their country.

Feel free to send a picture of them if you would like, and also tell us what conflict they took part in.
