National Moment of Silence

Every Memorial Day our country observes a nation wide moment of silence to remember our fallen heroes. At 3 o’clock local time, Americans are asked to pause and observe a moment of silence, contemplating the cost of the freedom we enjoy and honoring our nation’s fallen who paid for it.

I am posting this early so that all of the time zones can be reminded ahead of time and hopefully take a minute to remember and thank God that He has so graciously given us men and women who have died for freedom.

Set your alarm, if you are prone to forget, and pause at 3 o’clock local time. Maybe you could gather as a family and take time to silently remember our fallen, and also take time to pray for our country. Pray for the families of those who have lost loved ones in service to our country. Pray that we would not be guilty of taking our freedom for granted, but rather that we would live every day worthy of the sacrifices made on our behalf.

    • Hahaha, I don’t think many people actually do it, which kinda makes me sad. Now you know though, and can participate if you are able! Thank you for taking time to read my post and share with me your thoughts on it!! ❤
