It has been an eternity, it would seem, since I’ve been here on the blog. There are many things that have played into that happening, and I will explain a few of them today. But first I just want to say thank you to all of you who have been patient with this little blog and still check in to see if there are any new posts. I have missed “hanging out” with you all here and can’t wait to get back in the swing of things.

Earlier this summer my Grandpa’s health took a turn for the worse. Life became incredibly chaotic as my family and I poured our time and energy into taking care of him around the clock in our home. A few months later he went Home to be with Jesus Christ, the Savior he loved and served so faithfully. During this time of grieving I have stepped back from social media and blogging to be present with and for my family.

Though we do grieve having to say goodbye for a time, we are not sorrowing as those who don’t have the hope of Jesus Christ within them.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Corinthians 15:57

While all of this has been happening in my personal life, I have also been doggedly working on finishing my upcoming release, “Rest Beside The Weary Road”. Originally it was scheduled for release in October, but due to the extenuating circumstances I’ve had going on it has been moved to December! (Incidentally, it is up for preorder on Kindle right now!)

As I finish things up with this novella, things may still be quiet here. I’m sure that some have wondered if I have given up blogging all together. But no, my dear readers, you cannot get rid of me so easily.

Thank you again for being so patient. It shouldn’t be much longer and I’ll have a regular posting schedule once more.
